Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on mobile fleets. You will lead on-site efforts, triage complex repairs, and act as a consultant to customers while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing electrical and mechanical systems, ordering parts, and documenting work on RO using the TRAIT app. Candidates need ASE certifications and DOT compliance experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed DOT inspections and PM experience.
• Ability to diagnose advanced mechanical/electrical issues.
• Experience with on-site/mobile fleet maintenance preferred.
• HS diploma or higher with related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and scheduled PM on trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, engine, and braking systems.
• Document findings and upload RO data using company app.
• Coordinate with clients and manage parts on service truck.
