Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics in a mobile/field setting. You will lead on jobsites, consult with customers, and ensure safety and compliance while meeting high-performance metrics.

Responsibilities include documenting findings via the TRAIT app, managing parts and tools, and coordinating with management for approvals and estimates. OSHA, EPA, and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience; 3+ years in related field or 5+ years alternative background.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on trucks in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical/braking/cooling systems, engine electronics, transmissions, and related components.
• Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Manage parts inventory on a service truck and document work orders using TRAIT app.
