Job summary

The Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile field setting.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and engine systems and document findings on RO using our TRAIT app. We require a HS diploma/GED with 5+ years in related work, ASE certifications preferred (T8, 608/609, L2), and the ability to manage parts and customers on site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related experience, 3–7 yrs noted in posting.
• ASE T8 and 608/609 certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and engine systems.
• Inspect, test and road-test vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Independently manage parts on a service truck and document RO in TRAIT app.
