Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex diagnostics on mobile fleet service trucks across multiple sites.

You will lead on-site technical work and coordinate with customers and management to ensure timely, safe repairs. The role requires HS diploma or higher with ASE T8 and 608/609 credentials within 18 months, ability to work independently, and a clean DOT history.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• ASE 608/609 certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on trucks in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on heavy- and light-duty vehicles.
• Accurately document findings on Repair Orders using company devices and TRAIT app.
• Maintain safety checks, pre-/post-trip inspections, and manage parts inventory on a service truck.
