Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting. You will manage parts inventory, operate the service truck, document repairs using the TRAIT app, and liaise with clients to meet repair needs and timelines.

Requirements include a HS diploma/GED with 3 years' related experience, ASE certifications preferred, valid DL, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years' related field experience; or 5 years' related field experience.
• At least 3 years' experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Must possess and supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory compliance knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems in mobile/field settings.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify proper function.
• Maintain parts inventory and document RO using TRAIT app.
• Communicate with clients to assess needs and obtain approvals.
