Job summary

Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis and serving nationwide, is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II. The role focuses on licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, drive for on-site service, and maintain meticulous records using company tools. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in related fields and DOT/ FMCSA readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years related field experience, or 5 years experience in a related field.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance knowledge and ability to pass background screening and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs and DOT inspections on light to heavy trucks in a mobile/field setting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic systems on trucks.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to verify proper operation after repairs.
• Maintain safety, vehicle logs, and documentation via iOS devices and TRAIT app.
