Job summary

Cox Fleet, headquartered in Indianapolis, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and light-to-heavy repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems and document work via the TRAIT app.

Maintain the service truck and parts, while meeting safety and productivity targets. Able to work independently with customers, manage schedules, and adhere to DOT/FMSCA regulations.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PMs on trucks in field
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, engine and hydraulic systems
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance during service

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and DOT inspections on light to heavy trucks in mobile/field environment
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine and transmission systems
• Document work on Repair Orders using company TRAIT app and upload photos
• Maintain company vehicle and manage parts inventory on truck
