Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues, triage repairs, and service customer vehicles at multiple locations.

Role requires DOT readiness, tool proficiency, and independent scheduling with strong communication to clients and management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years in related field
• Experience with refrigerated equipment
• DOT/FMCSA regulations familiarity

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM and DOT inspections on mobile/field fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling systems on trucks.
• Manage parts inventory and service truck operations.
• Document findings on RO using TRAIT app and upload photos.
