Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on fleets in a mobile/field setting. You will lead on-site repairs and coordinate with customers while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Required are a HS Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related experience, with ASE certifications preferred. Valid DOT medical card and 21+ years of age highly desirable. Competitive weekly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; equivalent combinations considered.
• 3 years’ related field experience; or 5 years’ related experience.
• Experience with refrigerated equipment preferred.
• DOT/FMCSA regulatory knowledge and DOT medical requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PMs and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and engine systems.
• Document work orders, parts used, and RO findings; communicate with customers and management.
