Cox Fleet is seeking a Lead Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and a range of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostics in a mobile/field environment. You will mentor junior technicians, manage parts and schedule, and coordinate with the Mobile Technician Manager in the absence of leadership.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus 7 years’ experience or alternative combination with related discipline.
• Possess ASE certifications (T8 PMI, 608/609, C1) within 18 months.
• Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT Inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles on a mobile/field site.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain and operate service vehicle with pre/post-trip inspections and safety checks.
• Mentor and lead Mobile Diesel Technicians and assist MTM with Quality Control inspections.
