Job summary

RTX is seeking an expert mechanical engineer to join the Precision Control Actuation System (PCAS) organization in Huntsville (or Tucson) to support development, build, and verification of control actuation systems. You will contribute to detailed mechanical design, test design, and systems engineering across multiple programs.

You will work in a hands-on hardware environment with opportunities for rapid growth and access to engineering fellows through a dedicated technology pyramid.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously work within the control mechanism development domain and influence organizational strategies.
• Support hands-on hardware activities including engineering builds, hardware integration, tuning, and verification.
• Collaborate in a learning environment with access to senior subject matter experts to accelerate technical growth.
