Job summary

RTX's Precision Control Actuation System (PCAS) department in Tucson seeks a principal mechanical design engineer to support the development, build, and verification of control actuation systems. You will contribute to detailed mechanical design, test design, and systems engineering.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree and 8+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 5+ years). Preference given to aerospace mechanism design, flight control systems, and proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink,

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in mechanical mechanism design or flight control systems for aerospace applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support including detailed design, test design, and systems engineering.
