Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a Management Liability Practice Leader with 5–10+ years of experience to lead strategy, client advisory, and market initiatives across Directors & Officers, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom coverages.

The role requires strong leadership, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with Producers, Account Managers, and leadership to deliver innovative coverage solutions and risk management guidance.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of Management Liability experience as an underwriter, broker, producer, or combination thereof.
• Deep expertise in Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and related coverages.
• Active Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Proven consultative, client advisory, and business development experience with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and insurance technology platforms.
• Exceptional personal character.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of IOA’s Management Liability practice strategy.
• Evaluate carrier appetites, market conditions, industry trends, and product offerings.
• Provide expert guidance on D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and related coverages.
• Deliver coverage recommendations through market navigation, policy analysis, and RFP support.
• Design and implement risk management strategies that differentiate IOA.
• Collaborate with data teams to develop benchmarking tools and analytics.
• Oversee Management Liability content and educational resources across channels.
• Partner with Producers on business development opportunities and client engagements.
• Participate in select client meetings as a subject matter expert.
