Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Management Liability Practice Leader to drive national practice leadership and client solutions. The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of management liability experience and will collaborate with Producers, Account Managers, and leadership to deliver innovative coverage solutions.

This role oversees D&O, EPL, fiduciary, crime, and related coverages, drives market campaigns, and partners with IOA’s Data team for benchmarking and analytics.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of management liability experience as an underwriter, broker, producer, or combination thereof.
• Deep expertise in Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, and related executive risk coverages.
• Active Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Proven consultative, client advisory, and business development experience with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and insurance technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the Management Liability practice strategy.
• Evaluate carrier appetites, market conditions, industry trends, and product offerings to identify optimal solutions for client needs.
• Provide expert guidance on Directors & Officers, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Kidnap & Ransom, and related management liability coverages.
• Deliver coverage analysis, form comparison, RFP support, and proposal development.
• Design and implement risk management strategies that differentiate IOA in the marketplace.
• Partner with IOA’s Data team on benchmarking tools, analytics, and assessment capabilities.
• Oversee management liability content and thought leadership across channels.
• Support sales with technical expertise and strategic guidance for complex client engagements.
• Participate in select client meetings as a subject matter expert and advisor.
• Collaborate with Producers, Account Teams, carrier partners, and internal departments for service excellence and growth.
• Maintain market intelligence on risks, regulatory developments, and coverage innovations.
• Identify and implement best practices and process improvements for scalability.
• Maintain high level of management liability knowledge and guide internal teams.
• Continue professional development in evolving management liability products.
