Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building systems at a client facility.

You will lead a shift, mentor technicians, and optimize preventive maintenance for conveyors, sortation, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADA devices and related programs. The role requires 4+ years in automated conveyors/controls, strong electrical knowledge, PLC experience, and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship
• High school diploma or GED
• 4+ years experience with automated conveyors and controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, or industrial electronics
• Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics
• Experience with PLC programs
• 3+ years of work order management
• Ability to use statistics to run metrics like OEE/Up Time

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotics throughout the facility
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair and training for Maintenance Technicians
• Build and close out work orders in CMMS
• Cultivate positive relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance team
• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures
