Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join our team, supporting a major client facility. You will lead a shift, guide fellow technicians, and optimize preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

You will work with conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADA devices, and related controls. A strong background in MHE, PLCs, and CMMS is preferred, with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics or related field preferred.
• 4+ years experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Experience reading blueprints/schematics and with PLC programs.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of materials handling equipment and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and training for technicians.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams to ensure safety and reliability.
