Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a skilled Sr. Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and operation of building systems inside a client facility for one of the world’s largest online retailers.

You will lead a shift, mentor technicians, and optimize preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance of conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, print and apply systems, SCADA devices, and related MHE equipment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with PLCs, electrical and electronic principles.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Repair and improve MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot control components and sensors.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and plan emergencies.
• Create and close CMMS work orders.
• Collaborate with client and operations teams.
• Uphold safety procedures.
