Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to lead a shift, support the maintenance of building systems, and mentor fellow technicians. You will optimize preventive maintenance for equipment such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, and SCADA devices, ensuring high reliability and performance for our client facilities.

The role requires 4+ years with automated conveyors and controls, PLC experience, and strong reading of blueprints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
• Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with MHE safety standards (OEM) and safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, or industrial electronics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use statistics to run metrics (OEE/Up Time).
• Physical ability to lift heavy loads (50 lbs+).

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of materials handling equipment and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and training.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Foster positive relationships with client and operations teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
