Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Buford, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to lead a shift, optimize preventive maintenance of conveyors, sortation systems, and MHE, and mentor junior technicians. You will focus on reliability and safety while supporting a large client facility.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, implementing PLC-based controls, managing CMMS work orders, and collaborating with client operations to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and Safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles, NEC, and industrial electronics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and improve MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair and training of technicians.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations teams to ensure reliable operation.
• Promote a safe working environment by following procedures.
