Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Lead Maintenance professional to oversee on-site maintenance operations under the Community Manager. This role includes repairs in resident units, make-ready tasks, and coordinating with vendors while ensuring safety and quality across the property.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in apartment maintenance or related trades, be fluent in English, hold EPA refrigerant certification, own basic hand tools, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of full-time apartment maintenance experience or equivalent trade knowledge.
• English communication skills required; bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Own a basic set of hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Replace filters and maintain HVAC and vents.
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
• Assist in refurbishing apartments prior to occupancy (make-ready).
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Maintain pools, preventive maintenance, and inventory.
