Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC is seeking a Lead Maintenance to oversee property maintenance, perform repairs in resident apartments, and assist in preparing units for rent (make-ready). The role includes supervising subcontractors, maintaining pools and sprinkler systems, and supporting preventive maintenance under the Community Manager.

The candidate should have at least two years of full-time maintenance experience, English communication skills, EPA certification, a driver’s license, and basic hand

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of full-time experience in apartment maintenance or a related trade.
• Good communication with team, residents, vendors, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• Make-ready apartments prior to resident occupancy.
• Maintain sprinkler systems and pool chemical levels.
• Supervise subcontractors and training of staff.
• Assist in prep for inspections and move-ins/move-outs.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and inventory.
• Respond to on-call emergencies and standby coverage.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
