Job summary

Responsibilities include handling work orders, managing the make-ready process for vacant units, inspecting vendors, maintaining inventory, and supporting budgeting and safety initiatives across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and use them safely.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal/external contacts.
• Familiarity with internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
• Mathematical skills for finances, admin, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance across grounds and interiors.
• Inspect work by service teams and contractors to ensure quality.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and budget-conscious purchasing.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policy.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-control by using replacements wisely and safely.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Deliver strong customer service to residents and staff.
