Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a maintenance technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and amenities meet the company’s high standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and function.

You will diagnose issues from resident requests, complete make-ready processes for leased units, and maintain inventory while coordinating with the Community Manager on budgets and supply purchases. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; proficient with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; PM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and common areas following policies and safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Set maintenance standards for grounds, interiors, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work of team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials, coordinating with Community Manager on purchases.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance procedures per policy.
