Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking aMaintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring the community meets Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Responsibilities include handling resident work orders, making-ready units, and maintaining grounds and common areas.

The role requires 5+ years’ experience in property maintenance, EPA certifications may apply, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Incumbents must provide own hand tools and be skilled in safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal and external contacts.
• Proficiency in basic math for financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and perform routine maintenance.
• Oversee and complete the “make-ready” process for vacant units.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and common areas.
• Inspect work performed by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials; assist with budgeting and purchasing.
