Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring community buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues from resident requests, completing maintenance tasks, coordinating make-ready for vacant units, and inspecting work for quality while managing supplies and working within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to problems.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication to interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repair of defects or problems in buildings and grounds.
• Complete routine upkeep and respond to maintenance work orders.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Develop cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, and interiors.
• Inspect work by others and by contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and ordering supplies within budget.
