Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, oversee make-ready for vacant units, and enforce quality standards across the community while supporting cost controls and safety programs. The role requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects from service requests and perform repairs per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, inspect and schedule work as needed.
• Set cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, buildings, and interiors.
• Inspect work by teammates and contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory and assist budget planning for repairs and maintenance.
