Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to perform and oversee technical and mechanical tasks across the community. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and ensure units, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards.

The role requires experience in property maintenance, use of tools, and a strong emphasis on safety and resident service. A valid driver’s license and EPA certifications may be needed depending on the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand/power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs (word processing, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete resident service requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Maintain standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds and facilities.
• Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials and assist in budgeting.
