Job summary

SPS North America Inc. in Draper, UT is seeking a Lead Mailroom Associate to oversee mail, shipping, and receiving services, ensuring timely, courteous service for employees and clients. This role leads the mailroom team with direction from supervision to support onsite business services.

You will manage inbound/outbound mail, operate postage and folding equipment, maintain records, and coordinate with facilities to ensure smooth operations while upholding a professional company image.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years prior work experience preferred.
• 1+ year of lead experience preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Current knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems required for functions of position.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Provides 5-star customer service to all employees.
• Receives inbound mail/packages and sorts incoming mail and inputs into chain of custody software.
• Operates mail machines including the postage meter, photocopying machine, and mail folding and inserting machine.
• Maintains records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information.
• Manages outgoing mail/package transactions and duties associated with shipping and receiving of materials.
• Notifies employees upon receipt of inbound deliveries and distributes mail/packages to personnel.
• Acts as point of contact for mail/package inquiries and trains back-up on policies and procedures.
• Determines completion timeline, assigns tasks, and ensures on-schedule progress.
