Job summary

Jabil in Prince George, Virginia is seeking a Lead Engineer for Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear. You will own electrical design, protection, metering, and communications architectures across the product lifecycle, from concept through production release.

You will lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with customers and manufacturing to ensure cost, quality, and schedule targets are met. The role requires 10+ years in electrical engineering with LV switchgear experience, plus strong knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Power Systems preferred) or related field.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience, including 5+ years in low-voltage switchgear.
Experience with UL/NEMA standards and NFPA 70E; leadership on multiple NPIs.

Responsibilities

Own the electrical design and architecture of LV switchgear and associated systems.
Translate customer requirements into engineering specifications and deliverables.
Lead design transfer, manufacturing readiness, and production release activities.
Interface with customers during design reviews and issue resolution.
Drive DFMEA, DFM, DFT, DFR, and VAVE activities throughout the program.
