The Atlantic District in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Lead Insurance Agent to grow and manage a Farmers insurance agency, leading sales, operations and client service. This role sits at the heart of the local community, shaping coverage for families and businesses.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with underwriters, and build a robust client pipeline while delivering exceptional service. A strong license portfolio and a passion for growth are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Active Life and Health Insurance License.
• Three+ years of experience in insurance sales or account management.
• Strong command of CRM systems and digital document management.
• Demonstrated ability to close sales and manage a robust client pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales process from initial prospect contact to final policy issuance.
• Identify gaps in current client coverage and recommend solutions that provide genuine security.
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure accurate risk assessment for complex accounts.
• Maintain active communication with current policyholders to ensure their coverage evolves with their life changes.
• Mentor junior sales staff by sharing effective communication techniques and industry best practices.
• Participate in local community outreach efforts to establish The Atlantic District as a cornerstone of the Wilkes-Barre area.
