Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven changes across warehousing and transportation operations. You will lead cross-functional teams, map processes, and implement lean tools to raise safety, quality, and cost metrics.

You’ll manage CI initiatives, coach staff, and partner with management to execute value-driven projects while aligning with Ryder’s continuous improvement culture and growth objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or supply chain with 7+ years in warehousing, transportation or manufacturing.
• Master’s in Industrial Engineering or MBA acceptable with engineering undergrad.
• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects across the operation to drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; coach teams on lean methods.
• Manage CI resources, report progress to CI leadership and interfacing with operations.
• Develop and monitor continuous improvement plans with data-driven execution.
