Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive data-driven CI initiatives across warehousing, transportation and manufacturing operations.

You will identify gaps, lead automation efforts, and push for measurable gains in safety, quality, delivery, and cost while interfacing with leaders at all levels. You will coach teams on lean principles, run Kaizen events, and provide regular progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields with significant industry experience.
• 7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing with CI exposure.
• Strong command of PowerBI, Tableau, SQL and data visualization.
• Lean Six Sigma and PDCA experience with process improvement impact.
• Knowledge of WMS, CAD tools, and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-impact CI projects across operations.
• Apply data-driven CI, engineering, and automation to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; coach teams in lean methods.
• Provide regular data-driven progress reports and sustainment plans.
• Guide hiring/coaching decisions for CI/quality staff with leadership.
• Collaborate with account management and customers on CI initiatives.
