Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI methods across our operations.

You will identify gaps, lead improvement projects, and drive lean initiatives with cross-functional teams, interfacing with management to deliver better safety, quality, delivery, and cost outcomes. Key tasks include mapping processes, leading Kaizen events, and coaching teams on Lean, QA, and CI tools.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years in Warehousing, Transportation and/or Manufacturing
• MBA with undergrad in Engineering acceptable
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio required

Responsibilities

• Lead CI projects across the operation to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost
• Perform data analysis to identify process gaps and implement improvements
• Coach teams on Lean, QA, and CI methods and lead Kaizen events
