Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in warehousing, transportation, or manufacturing
• 7+ years in warehousing/transportation and/or manufacturing
• Microsoft Office Suite with Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio (Expert)
• Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau) and database programming (SQL, DAX)
• Proficiency in Leader Standard Work, Visual Management Systems, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S
• Core engineering and data analysis (slotting, labor planning, layouts, metrics)
• CAD-based warehouse design tools; slotting; WMS and labor mgmt systems knowledge
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, data analytics, lean methods
• Knowledge of dedicated services and managed transportation networks; equipment types
• Lean Six Sigma
• cPMP, ISO/QMS
• APICS/Supply Chain Certification

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps and documents processes; implement CI plans
• Manages high-impact CI projects; supports start-ups, retrofits, expansions; identify automation projects
• Coaches on CI, QA, Lean; applies engineering methodologies to improve distribution/transportation
• Possibly supervise CI engineering/QA professionals; participate in hiring and performance decisions
• Lead Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events; sustainment; train process owners in lean methods
• Provide regular data reports and inventory/supply chain recommendations against site objectives
