Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Oklahoma City is seeking a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead design, optimization, and sustaining engineering for residential and commercial HVAC products.

You will drive end-to-end NPD projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sales. A Master’s degree is preferred with 10+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of product design and project engineering experience.
• Proven track record of releasing at least two product families.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and qualify HVAC systems using simulation tools, analytics, and experiments.
• Lead end-to-end NPD projects and manage timelines, costs, and KPIs.
• Lead product qualification programs and coordinate with regulatory/testing agencies to ensure compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and sales/marketing teams.
• Prepare BOMs, engineering drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders and clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and apply DFSS and DFMA principles across programs.
