Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Substations Project Manager to lead HV/EHV substation projects across the United States, with offices including Fort Worth, Denver, and Ann Arbor. You will supervise technical teams, manage budgets and schedules, safety, QA/QC, and ensure client satisfaction through the project lifecycle.

Requires 7–10 years in electrical substation project management and a Bachelor’s in Engineering; Master’s and PMP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in project management delivering HV/EHV substation or utility-scale projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HV/EHV substation projects including budgets, schedules, and risk management.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure QA/QC, safety compliance, and client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.
