Job summary

WSP is seeking a Substations Project Manager to lead HV/EHV substation projects across multiple U.S. locations, including Fort Worth, Denver, Boise, St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbus, Minneapolis, and Ann Arbor.

You will supervise cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and QA/QC compliance throughout project lifecycles. You will develop proposals, establish WBS, and coordinate with procurement and clients to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• 7–10 years of progressive PM experience on HV/EHV substation or utility‑scale projects.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, QA/QC, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross‑functional engineering, design, and construction teams on HV/EHV substations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risk, QA/QC, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and implement project initiation/setup documents (RMP, PMP, QP, PSP, Communications Plan).
• Prepare and review cost estimates, scopes of work, and resource plans for utility‑scale power delivery.
• Provide regular project reporting to clients and management; monitor earned value and cash flow.
• Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors; address scope changes and claims.
