Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent-IS to manage the construction of homes from permit to closing, supervise subcontractors, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, and ensure safety and standards on-site.

The role requires coordinating schedules, maintaining budget, ensuring codes compliance, and delivering high-quality homes on time while providing excellent customer service throughout the build process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specs, and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Schedule subcontractors and evaluate workmanship for compliance with codes and standards.
• Complete homes from planning to occupancy and satisfy contract obligations.
• Authorize subcontractor payments after inspections and approval of materials.
