Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage all functions of a home construction site, from permit to closing. You will schedule and supervise subcontractors, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, ensure safety and code compliance, and maintain a high-quality product for customers.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to drive project milestones while upholding DRH standards. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience preferred.
• Must read and interpret construction documents and drawings.
• Vehicle and driver’s license required to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule for multiple homes from permit to closing.
• Schedule subcontractors and ensure work meets plans, specs and code.
• Oversee homeowner walks, communications and warranty issues.
• Ensure site cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with sales and management to resolve issues and maintain quality.
