D.R. Horton is seeking a Superintendent in Texas to manage multiple home constructions from permit to closing. You will schedule and supervise subcontractors, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, and ensure quality and safety standards are met on time and within budget.

You must read construction documents, communicate effectively, and use DRH Construction apps across devices. Occasional travel between communities may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two to four years related experience in construction is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsabilités

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Schedule subcontractors for each phase and verify workmanship meets plans and codes.
• Complete each home site from planning to occupancy and satisfy contract obligations.
• Inspect workmanship and halt noncompliant work; authorize payments when standards are met.
• Coordinate customer experience and provide regular progress communications to homeowners.
• Ensure site cleanliness and maintain a professional, safe work environment.
• Oversee post-close warranty process and coordinate with subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable building codes and DRH Construction applications.
