Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site construction for multi-home projects. You will schedule subcontractors, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with building codes while delivering homes on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include managing the customer experience, maintaining site safety, and coordinating with sales and warranty teams. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years related construction experience.
• Ability to manage and complete the '13 Milestones of Construction'.
• Valid driver's license and a vehicle to travel between communities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, specs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule to deliver a high quality product on time and within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors and evaluate workmanship for compliance with plans and codes.
• Complete each home site from planning to occupancy, ensuring contract obligations are met.
• Inspect subcontractor work and authorize payments upon satisfactory completion.
• Maintain customer experience throughout construction with regular updates.
• Lead site cleanliness, safety, and post-close warranty follow-ups.
