Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead home construction from permit to closing. You’ll schedule subcontractors, monitor progress and quality, and ensure safety and code compliance while delivering a high‑quality home and strong customer service.

You’ll collaborate with sales, warranty and management teams to communicate progress, conduct homeowner walkthroughs, and address issues promptly throughout the build process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors and monitor quality to meet codes and workmanship standards.
• Complete each home site from planning to occupancy and satisfy contract obligations.
• Conduct homeowner orientation and walks; maintain proactive communications with homeowners.
