D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage on-site construction for single-family homes in multiple communities. The role covers scheduling, subcontractor oversight, warranty coordination, and ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to drive between communities.
• Experience managing construction schedules and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
• Proficiency with MS Office; willingness to use DRH Construction apps.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure quality on time and within budget.
• Schedule all subcontractors and evaluate workmanship for compliance.
• Complete each home site from planning to occupancy and meet contract obligations.
• Inspect workmanship and halt noncompliant work.
• Authorize subcontractor payments after inspection and approvals.
• Manage the customer experience throughout construction and conduct homeowner orientation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing site; protect community brand.
• Oversee post-close warranty processes and coordinate with homeowners.
