Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree welcomed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Phlebotomy certification from ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year experience in lab Patient Service Centers preferred; prior PSC phlebotomy experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy and related services for all patients.
• Validate/update patient demographics in the BILH system; input insurance and orders for others.
• Collect specimens via venipuncture or capillary methods across ages.
• Prepare specimens for transport to BILH labs with proper handling.
• Perform administrative duties to operate PSC daily; assist in training and mentoring.
