Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Patient Service Center Phlebotomist to join a networked team. You will perform specimen collections, ensure accurate patient data entry, and serve as the face of the laboratory to patients across multiple PSC locations.

You will travel to additional PSCs as needed, support QA activities, and participate in training. A high school diploma or GED is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate's degree welcomed.
• Phlebotomy certification from ASCP or equivalent preferred.
• Previous PSC/phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy and related services for all patients.
• Enter patient demographic, insurance, and orders into the system.
• Collect specimens via venipuncture/capillary methods for all ages.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory.
• Travel to additional PSCs or doctor's offices as needed.
• Perform daily administrative tasks to operate the PSC.
