Job summary

Everon is seeking an experienced field technician to assist with routine and emergency service calls. You will troubleshoot, replace, and repair malfunctioning equipment under supervision and help coach others as needed.

Responsibilities include customer support, system operation instruction, testing, inventory management, and timely documentation of tasks. A high school diploma, 5+ years in the field, and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• Masters knowledge of commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Strong communication/leadership skills with others.
• Knowledge of test equipment like multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
• Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls; troubleshoots, replaces, and repairs equipment.
• Proctors, coaches, and teaches others as needed.
• Provides reliable, high-quality customer support and instruction on system operation.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Organizes resources to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
• Ensures task progress and completion, and documents service and hours.
• Completes required activity and productivity documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintains a strong work ethic and detail orientation.
• Performs other assigned projects.
