Job summary

Everon is seeking a skilled field technician to perform routine and emergency service calls, troubleshoot, replace and repair equipment. The role requires working with minimal supervision and may involve training less senior technicians.

The candidate will handle system testing, documentation of service and hours, organize inventory, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have three or more years of experience.
• Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Working knowledge of local/national codes.
• Mastery knowledge of test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass a drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret English blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls, troubleshooting, replacing and/or repairing equipment.
• Proctor, coach, and teach others.
• Provide reliable, high quality customer support.
• Instruct customers on system operation and functionality.
• Perform system testing and signal verification.
• Maintain truck stock/inventory and organize resources.
• Utilize technical resources to ensure efficient task execution.
• Ensure progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Document service hours and activities in a timely manner.
• Complete all required task-related documentation.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
