Job summary

Everon is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform routine and emergency service calls on our security systems. You will troubleshoot, replace, and repair malfunctioning equipment while working with minimal supervision and training less senior technicians.

You will proctor, coach others, deliver high-quality customer support, and document service activities. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel are required in this full-time role based in Ohio.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational Training required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Working knowledge of local and national codes.
• Mastery knowledge of test equipment (multimeters, battery analyzers, decibel meters).
• Valid driver's license and ability to clear a drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret English-language blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency service calls; troubleshoot, replace or repair equipment.
• Provide coaching and training to less senior technicians or trainees.
• Deliver reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Instruct customers on system operation and functionality.
• Document service activities and hours worked; ensure timely completion.
• Maintain truck stock and organize technical resources.
• Follow safety and code requirements; perform testing and signal verification.
• Possess strong work ethic and attention to detail.
