Job summary

Everon seeks an experienced field service technician to handle routine and emergency service calls, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and train others in proper system operation. This role requires knowledge of commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems, plus adherence to applicable codes.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or vocational training, 5+ years of experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational Training required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in related field.
• Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills when working with others.
• Proficient with test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers and decibel meters.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls.
• Troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Must have ability to proctor, coach, and teach others.
• Provides customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains necessary truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Organizes resources to ensure efficient task execution.
• Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Documents service and hours worked promptly.
• Completes task-related activities and other documentation in a timely manner.
