Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is hiring a Field Technician III to lead crews, perform advanced testing and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in field settings.

You will mentor junior technicians, enforce safety policies, and coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure efficient, compliant field operations across North America.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required for safety sensitive position.
• Background check required.
• Overtime and travel for periods of time may be required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead job site safety briefings and enforce PPE usage.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers, project managers, and crews.
• Lead testing, inspection, and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Perform advanced testing and diagnostics on circuit breakers, transformers, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues from schematics and diagrams.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices and safety.
• Review field documentation and ensure accuracy of test reports and logs.
